This Monday 18th April, the Chapter Arts Centre has a showing of Battle Mountain for your viewing pleasure.
Cycling legend Graeme Obree is a truly inspirational character. His determination to succeed against all odds has twice seen him hold the one–hour speed cycling record, as well as being named the World 4000m Pursuit Champion. This documentary follows “The Flying Scotsman” as he prepares for the human–powered vehicle land speed record attempt in Nevada, using a very unusual bike designed by himself and christened “The Beastie” by his friend Sir Chris Hoy.
There will also be a Q&A session with Graeme Obree himself. It’s at 8:15pm and tickets are £7.20 for adults, but there’s a £5.10 tier as well that you might qualify for.
