Cardiff’s new Nextbike scheme has been something of a revelation. Being the cheapest, fastest way around the city, it’s hardly surprising that the scheme continues to expand.
However, nobody would so bold as to say those bikes are light, or those three speeds in any way adequate for hilly terrain. Tom Donne clearly thought otherwise.
Armed with a drone and some dark glasses, Tom set off from Cardiff Met on Western Avenue, headed up the Taff Trail to scale the Garth.
Cleverly shot and edited, it’s an entertaining lesson in making do –that the tool for the job is very often the one you already have. That you don’t need a lighter bike, or more gears, you just need some stronger legs. 🙂
Good work, Tom.
